And the cleaning: Amazing! I was very anxious about bugs and spiders, but i did not see a single bug or spider inside or outside our room! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that there were a smell, not a bad smell, rather an unusual smell. And when I, by accident, turned the 'air condition' to heat there was an awful smell, but I suppose that won't be a problem since it is hot in LA.
There was also a homeless woman camping right next to the hotel, and to get to the bus and Walk of Fame which was pretty close you had to walk past her. There was quite a bad smell, but there was no harm done. There is also a lot of traffic next to the hotel, but we had no problem sleeping at all. Btw there was a shoe outlet right next to the hotel! Shoe heaven!
We stayed a week and enjoyed the hotel. The rooms surround the pool area which was very noisey till late at night,had a problem with this.

I would highly recommend this hotel and I am most particular! Oh, and.. We stayed for 1 night on a layover. Room is large, clean and practical. It is not in the most sterile area of Los Angeles, but never felt unsafe and easy walking, in my opinion. There is a taco truck in the service station 2 doors up which have the best I have ever tasted. This was worth staying here alone! The Kimpton Everly is a new modern hotel located in Hollywood. Everything is new, in good condition and the hotel is modern and fresh.

I was fortunate enough to be accommodated at this hotel at the very last minute because my Airbnb got cancelled. The facility is brand new and the rooms are very clean.

The rooftop facilities are great if it's not too crowded , but they don't make quite as good a Negroni compared to the bar at the lobby. The room was very clean yet quite basic. The breakfast was better than I expected with cereals, yoghurt, croissants, toast, mini muffins, cookies, fruit, porridge sachets, milk, juice, tea and coffee available. The cookies tasted home-made and were divine. Great location and definitely a place to remember and revisit.

From the moment we checked in, we had a great stay. The front desk staff printed out some tickets from my email that I had forgotten to print out ahead of time and offered us the house car a very nice BMW 7 Series instead of a cab to get my husband and I to dinner.
