When you meet these people, if you listen closely to what they say, you will see almost everything they ask is a qualifying question to determine if it's worth their time to communicate, and how much you could possibly be worth to them. I absolutely will not, no matter how disturbing the story may be, send money to anyone that I meet online, and if they ask it's over, plain and simple.
I know it's hard because for me the money is not the real issue, the emotions involved hurt much more than the money to me. I'm now communicating with a wonderful woman from Russia. We have written letters everyday for about 2 months.
